Dear Parents,

 Our first week of school was wonderful for all.  Thank you everyone for getting the paper work from “Meet the Teacher” night finished and handed in.

 

In Math we will be starting Topic 1, which is “Understanding Addition.” Please look for your child’s daily papers as they come home.  My goal is to do all corrections in class; however, there will be times when I may miss them because of our schedule.  If that would happen please have your child complete the homework corrections.  

Please check your Child’s Folder nightly.

This week I will also be starting our phonics series, which I am very excited about.

This year I will be sending home a Scholastic Book Club order form.  If you and your child are interested in ordering, please fill out the form and send it back to school.  You may also order it right on the scholastic website.   I will be sending these order forms home monthly, with the due date on it.
