Here’s What’s Happening!

February 16^th -20^th, 2015

Dear Parents,

This week in reading your child will be starting a new story called “Honey Bees”.  The children will be learning to read and to write words with long e, ee.  Our spelling test will be next week.  I will also be teaching how to read unknown words by dividing them into syllables vc/cv.  We will also be talking about comparing and contrasting with-in our story.  In Math class, we will soon be finishing up Topic 7 “Counting and Number Patterns to 120.”  The children are finding this to be a fun Topic!
