   Happy New Year!

 

 

Monday: Day 4, Art Class

Phonics & Spelling:  This week we will be learning about reading &

                                      writing words with Long /i/.

                                     Write “Spelling Words” 2 times each.

                *Pre-test will be Thursday, Final test will be on Friday only

                  if your child did not get all 12 words correct on pre-test.  

                 *Review spelling words nightly

Reading: Decodable Reader

Tuesday: Day 5, Library Class

Spelling: Write 3 sentences using 3 different Spelling words from

                 this week’s spelling list.  Remember the three components of

             a sentence: 1) Begins with a capital letter, 2) use ending marks, &

                   3)  has to makes sense!  

Math:   Practice Page

Wednesday: Day 1, Computer Class

Spelling:  Pre-test tomorrow

Reading:  Read “Who Work Here”

Spelling:  Final test tomorrow                

Reading:   Free Read (read any book from home and don’t forget to

                   record it on your reading log!
