Here’s What’s Happening!  

October 27^th-31^st, 2014

Dear Parents,

You may not be aware that your child’s spelling list comes from their reading series.  Plus, there are times when I make up a list, if the story takes us a little longer than a week.  Starting this week, every time we begin with a new reading story, I will be giving your child a spelling pre-test the same day to see if they already know the words.  If your child knows all 12 words then they will not have to practice writing their words 2times each for homework nor will they have to re-take the test.  

 

Monday: Day 3, Gym Class

Spelling:  Write spelling words 2 times each, study words nightly.

Reading:  This week’s reading skills are: picking out the Main Idea and Details.   Read “Get the Egg”

Reading:  Decodable Readers/ Level Readers

Thursday: Day 1, Computer Class

Spelling:  test tomorrow

No Homework!
