Dear Parents,

Starting this Friday, your child will be having their first Spelling Test.  The words that they will be asked to spell, are words right from their daily phonics lessons.  Every Monday, I will be sending home a new list of words.  I am asking you to please look for them, if you should not get a copy of the spelling list, let me know ASAP so I can send a new list home. I will also post the spelling words on Home-Work Helper.  Also, every Thursday, I will be giving a spelling pre-test if your child should spell all the words correctly, they will not have to take Friday Spelling Test.

Monday: Day 4, Art Class,

Phonics:  No Homework

Spelling: Study a couple of spelling words each night, and you will be

                 sure to know them by Friday.

Spelling:    Study Words

Reading:    Decodable Reader 3; Read with an adult and return book for in class practice.

Thursday: Day 2, Music Class

Spelling :   Spelling Pre-Test; if you get all spelling words correct you do not have

                  to take the test on Friday.

                                           No Homework!
